I love my family. My wife Krista is a former pop R&B Christian singer along with her sisters called The Darins. I met her when I worked at William Morris Agency. If you’re an Indiana farm boy and you luck your way into marrying a smart, beautiful blonde haired blue-eyed southern California girl, you should throw yourself a parade every day, which I do. Our two daughters are very different- one is a calm, methodical little scientist, and the other is an over-the-top emotional leader type. It’s like raising the female versions of Kirk and Spock.
I used to be a football-baseball-basketball guy, but now I’m really into triathlon. I’m part of a great group of people that inspire me all the time. I’m also a history addict. I recently started reading The Hunger Games, couldn’t get into it, so I picked up a 100 year old book on The Phoencians. Much better.
I’m also blessed with the chance to talk and work with some of the greatest minds in the world in my job at Premiere Speakers Bureau. You can check out several interviews with Olympians, Hall of Famers, and New York Times Best-Selling authors here as well.
Have you ever known someone who runs a nonprofit who has a huge heart, but not all the business skills in the world? They should check NonBoardBoard– we’ve got great articles online, and even a monthly speaker series if you’re in the Nashville area. It’s free.
So, that’s me.
